After working with a wig, I wanted to create something interactive, which gallery visitors can actually ‘wear’. This oversize dress is an installation piece built in OVADA gallery in Oxford. I wanted to explore our relationship with dressing up, and the judgements we make about certain materials used – I’ve used PVC, fale nails, fishnet tights and synthetic hair to create the dress.
